Thrashers Victory Song

Ever wondered what the boys listen to after a big win? I know I have. Hockey and Music go together like, well like... like two things that go really well together. Music has always been a big part of hockey, especially rock and roll. But most all kinds of music are tolerated. Even here at The Chronicle we have a wide variety of musical interests. Morty, Monsieur and myself like all kinds (especially the great Phil Collins and "I Can't Dance"). The exception here is our friend Razor. Only country for him.

OK, I suppose I'll get to the point. Knobler has a great story on what the guys listen to in the locker room. Interesting it comes on the same day Buccigross has a nice piece about AC/DC. For those of you too lazy to click on the link to Knobler, the victory song goes a little something like this:

For The Blueland Chronicle, I'm Big Shooter.

Ah, the Great Phil Collins.

What an amazing article. My favorite part:

“He didn’t ask or anything. The first day he came here he started messing with the stereo,” goalie Kari Lehtonen said. “So far, so good. It’s a lot better than Marc Savard had a couple of years ago when he was playing here.”

Anyone that has two ears and a heart loves Phil Collins.

Yes Shooter, I too have heard that Van Gogh and Hilary Clinton both hate Phil Collins.
