The Traverse City Prospect Tournament is underway, and Evander Kane scored a goal in the the first game he's played wearing a Thrasher jersey. Unfortunately, the team of prospects performed a little too much like the Thrashers of old, blowing a three goal lead in the third period by surrendering five unanswered goals.
Boxscore here.
It is exciting to see that second Atlanta goal. Evander Kane, assisted by Eric O'Dell and Jeremy Morin. Kane and Kulda both took penalties in the game as well. Only Dannick Paquette finished the game with a positive +/- after the third period collapse.
Thrasher prospects play the Rangers today at 3:30 and the Canes on Wednesday, also at 3:30.
The Prospect game next Monday night at the Ice Forum against the Predators prospects is sold out. There may still be tickets available for the mid-day (1pm) game on Tuesday. For those of you who have tickets for Monday, I'll see you there!
