This is the Saddest Thing I've Ever Read

“Hopefully, Kozzy is going to play on the right side, because I think if we play together, we’ve got a good chemistry,” Kovalchuk said. “Maybe next year, he’ll go on the right side, and we’ll play together all year long.”

- Knobler, AJC

And there will be chocolate snowflakes, and lots of swimming pools and trips to the beach and peanut butter sandwiches, and, and...and Rover's just sleeping, right?

Doesn't the Czar know life is full of unnecessary follies and random meaningless tragedy and just general shittiness? Like having Chris Thorburn on your right wing for no discernable reason?

I was thinking about this last night. I was wondering how that'd go if he played with Kovy. I mean, they are so close and get along so well. I wouldn't deny them of it. Slava can slows things down while Kovy can speed em up.

They certainly did well together last night. But Kovalchuk must play with Thorburn, to torture all of us.

Thor's just a victim of circumstance - he can't help being thrown in over his head. :)

Aaron-

That's certainly true. It's not his fault. He's a good fourth-liner; for some reason John Anderson, and apparently quite a few other people, want to keep him in over his head.
