All it says it that the Thrashers kick ass, Habs fans are terrible people, and that the townhall meeting wasn't terribly interesting aside from some earnest young man who was concerned about how ecologically sound Philips Arena is. He got roundly mocked, and shouted down by our friend Razor, but his concerns were legitimate enough, I thought.

I did laugh though.

So how did the "protest" turn out?

As far as I could tell, there was no protest. I didn't see any signs or paper bags on the head.

Jeff Dultz wrote an ENTIRE article about this huge protest. Probably because he heard about it from one or two angry fans. Just goes to show you what a shit paper the AJC is, and what a shit reporter Dultz's is...

That was one of the most dominating games I've seen the Thrashers play. The NHL Network announcers at one point when it was a 4-on-4 actually had to say, "This is not a Thrashers powerplay, even though it looks like it is". Just simply dominating. Zach Bogosian was also getting some serious manlove from the announcers and the studio guys. He's a keeper.

The protest was a few signs here and there. Nothing epic.
