Blueland Chronicle Comment of the Day!

Apologies for the very public inter-newsroom warfare unfolding in the comments section as we speak. We don't want to distress our readers with petty office infighting. To avoid any future civil wars, I've sent the Short Handed Mole to a Truck Nuts festival/convention in Daytona, FL; I asked him to report on anything hockey-related he finds there.

Now then. The Chronicle is instituting a brand new tradition: Comment of the Day. Humankind is universally eligible for this elite nobility; to qualify all you need to do is leave a comment on one of our posts! If we find it brilliant/witty/interesting enough, we'll honor it with the Comment of the Day Award!

Your prize, of course, is to have your nom-de-Internet in neon lights across the hockey blogosphere, plus one fully paid visit to an all-purpose girl/guy of the streets that Monsieur Catalogues knows, headquartered on Ponce de Leon Avenue.

Our inaugural Comment of the Day Award goes to beloved fixture of the comments section Jay, for the following perceptive observation/suggestion:

I think it's time that Waddell uses the assets that an 8th ranked prospect system provides. He got an extra 2nd and/or 3rd round pick for Schneider. Package a few draft picks and some prospects for Savard. That helps Boston's cap issue, Atlanta keeps the 4th overall(and drafts Evander Kane), and Boston gets the opportunity to get a few extra picks. Win-Win.
YES.

No problem. No shame in going for the 3-day hat trick, either.
