Are You Kidding Me!?!?!

Alexander Burmistrov.

Yes, you read that right. That was a Russian name. That was not an American name.

Not Jack Campbell.

Not Cam Fowler.

A Russian.

Has Rick Dudley heard about the KHL?

Radulov?

Kovalchuk?

There is a good chance this guy will never play in the NHL.

He's undersized.

He's a forward.

This team needs stud defensemen. Or maybe it doesn't. Apparently we don't need Pavel Kubina.

This team needs reliable goaltending.

And Rick Dudley takes Alexander Burmistrov.

Goodbye NHL 2010 Entry Draft.

We've left to enter the Dudley Zone.

I'm pretty much speechless...we could've moved down 2-3 spots and still gotten Fowler or Campbell or somebody who ISN'T RUSSIAN.

Feels like my eyelids have been ripped off. What the fuck, Dudley!?

We're pretty deep on defense and goaltending prospects. Why is anyone surprised we took a forward? I just didn't think it would be this one.

I am surprised. We've never won a playoff game. I have a hard fucking time understanding how anyone tries to say we are so deep on D and in goal that we shouldn't take the best player available. The Oilers already have 'prospects' on wing but still took Hall. Because he was the best available. When our NHL team has something that resembles success, then you can come talk to me about how deep our prospects are.

My fears of Dudley have come true.
