How about those playoffs, henngh? It would be nice, I imagine, to see the Thrashers back there someday, but it is a great pleasure to watch all these solid teams play exciting, often thrilling, hockey.
My nominee for Most Exciting Game So Far was that wild Montreal/Washington thing this past weekend, though there have been plenty of good ones. Last night's Sharks-Av's game, for instance. Truly, I've never seen a more intense goal-less game. I've also never seen a more anti-climactic one. Dan Boyle, haw haw.
So what are you people interested in these days?

I'm diggin the Yotes. Also Bruce Boudreau and his dancing celebrations on the bench. The Sharks failure makes me laugh.
I know all this because I'm an expert.
I actually feel bad for Sharks fans today. Seeing that goal just reminded me of the howler that Hedberg gave up against the Rangers in the playoffs a few years ago. You all remember it well.
Oh, and Craig Anderson is not human.
Craig Anderson is truly something more than human. Nabokov was looking like he'd regained his form last night, but alas...That Boyle own goal was hilarious and painful. I was cheering for the Sharks last night, mainly because Heatley wasn't in the lineup and I could imagine it was the good old days.
Strangely enough, that was the best game they've played so far, even though they lost.
Boudreau's crazy celebrations are a wonder.
I hope the Coyotes win the Stanley Cup. I predicted they would do it last season, and of course that turned out to be a catastrophic joke, but if they're able to win it this year...one year off isn't that bad, is it?
One year off isn't that bad... are you asking me or are you telling me?
Ugh. Watching that Dan Boyle own goal on youtube, I happened to see this video come up as "related."
Hope this isn't indicative of Vishnevskiy's play. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=e0iIuW5oilc&feature=related
I really didn't have a problem with Sutton acting like an asshole to that reporter. He WAS telling him instead of asking him, just spitting out an unexamined assumption and expecting Sutton to react in a certain way. I dislike Sutton, but the reporter was a sniveling douchebag.
Whoa. Sounds like someone here is the expert. (Warning: This could be a very, very long game. I'm easily entertained)
I've kind of liked the Phoenix-Detroit series so far. Game 2 was wild. Five goals in under four minutes was insane. It was like watching a damn tennis match there was so much back and forth. I've liked the NJ-Philly series too, if not to see Kovalchuk do reasonably well while the Devils still lose, and get Atlanta farther up the draft board.
