Forget "Pass or Fail." The question should be "Who do we sacrifice to placate the angry ice gods?" SOMEONE has to take one for the team.

Didn't we already sacrifice Todd White and Donald Brashear?

I think the fact that he has a big-ass dip in his mouth actually negates any "bad juju" and reverses it into good luck for some dirty crunk-rock hockey in the sizzling sizz-south!!

He and Boultsy should get along swimmingly. I think Buff's presence in the room will help them forget about Colby "shredded cheese" Armstrong very fast. More like squeeze cheese if you ask me.

This is just forshadowing. Relax. This is also the first time ever that an actual Thrashers player has touched the Cup and not had it be because of a Hockey Hall of Fame visit. Progress!

For most organizations, 10 years of bad hockey make you a Stanley Cup contender. You get 10 high draft picks in various stages of development. Just look at the Ottawa Senators circa 2000, the Blackhawks the last two years, Tampa in 2004, etc.

And just look at Atlanta! Stefan, Kovalchuk, Heatley, Lehtonen, Slater, Coburn, Valabik, Bourret, Little... With even two or three of those guys in the lineup you'd have to be a major force in the league!!!! Right!?!?!?!

would have been neat if he had a jersey split down the middle, half thrashers half blackhawks.
