The whole sequence of Freddy Meyer's throwing hits, stumbling around on the ice trying to find his way, and then collapsing in a head is an unfortunately excellent example of the Thrashers season. Well, almost all Thrashers seasons, actually.
I left last night seriously questioning why I drive 500 miles(round trip) for each game and do I want to continue to do this next year. This team has talent, it has a good young core, it is capable of playing well, but it always seems like something is missing. This really has nothing to do with the ownership situation for me. The talent is there, Philips is a great place to see a game, I think the tickets are good value to see an NHL team, basically everything is fine with me except the final results and the effort from the team on a lot of nights. Seriously, it seems like the team starts to play like shit when they start advertising for playoff tickets during the games. Same thing happened last year. I'm all in for this year because everything is already paid for, but I am seriously going to have to reevaluate things if the effort/results don't change.

Is anybody still on board with this team?
