By "burn," I mean "defeat." And by "the witch," I mean "those wicked Washington Capitals." Though if we're going by the QOTSA video below I hope the Thrashers are the army of cool dancing skeletons and the Capitals are the pious townsfolk.
As you all know, tonight we get to see the boldly experimental No Kovalchuk Thrashers. Should be...oh, who am I kidding? I'll be hiding my eyes.

Shooter, Franken-Bobby is always good humor for the pre-Halloween affair at the Philips powered Pumpkin! We could use his ill-mannered and cantankerous fore-checking (circa 1999) against the Ovechkins tonite.
But for some reason, I am feeling dangerously optimistic about tonite's contest. If Nik's groin isn't too ornery, then I think he pots a goal, adds two assists (one to Kaner and one to Finny on the PP) and we win 4-3 in a hard fought game in which we actually score first!!

Them Crooked Vultures (Dudes from Foo, Queens, and Zeppelin) sounded pretty sweet. I flipped on the FM for about 4 minutes today and was kinda pleased with what I heard.
Headed down to the game now. Hopefully Evander watches this video, decides Ovechkin would look even better in HD with less teeth, and just dominates these fools.
