And Ryan Kesler is your new Ryan Kesler. Brian Rafalski did the crazy slapshot business that got us all those goals, but Kesler's effort in scoring that late empty net goal was nothing short of awe-inspiring. The whole team skated, shot, and blocked their asses off.

Ryan Kesler was quoted before the game saying he hated the Canadian Team. Between that and this goal, I am hoping he will be persona non grata in Vancouver by March 1 and they will trade him to the Thrashers for Colby Armstrong.
The biggest play Kesler made all night wasn't the beauty of a EN goal, but was the blocked shot he had right in front of the net towards the end of the game. Would have been a tie game if it wasn't for that.
