On the Playoffing Schedule Tonight

vs.
(this never gets old, does it?)

($1 and a Blueland Chronicle t-shirt to anybody who can tell us in what capital city this was taken)

No way that the Rangers are good enough to win this series. They DO have one huge advantage over Washington, though: goaltending. It's thinkable that Lundquist could steal the whole series for New York, but don't bet on it. Washington is simply too good, and the Rangers are too mediocre.

Elsewhere in the league...

vs.

New Jersey has Martin Brodeur, not to mention a great offense, but I think they're dangerously close to choking at the hands of a red-hot Carolina Hurricanes team starring a red-hot Cam Ward. Nuff said.

One of my favorite flyers of all time.

vs.

Don't know, don't care. Hope the Flyers win because I hate the Penguins more.

vs.

It would be wonderful to see St. Louis win this series, and it's not beyond the realm of possibility that they will. But...Luongo. And someone like Ryan Kesler, who I predict will become a great playoff warrior. The 'Nucks simply have it all: offensive stars in the Sedins and Sundin, excellent tough role players in Kesler and Alex Burrows and Steve Bernier, and that Luongo fellow.
