Congratulations, Thrashers
Excellent job on keeping the losing streak strong, long, and muscular. Here's hoping you go for 19 losses in a row (20 might be a bit excessive).
I think it can be done.
Meanwhile, I'd also like to congratulate you on your power play and penalty kill efforts. They're as efficient as a poorly constructed bus stop.
Perhaps someday you can fail to score on a 5-on-2.

What in God's name do you mean?
Does "backing your hockey team" mean writing about how wonderful things are when they're slap-in-the-face-obviously not?
I love the Thrashers, I rarely miss a home game, I cheer for them, I feel exuberant when they win, I feel depressed and occasionally angry when they lose.
I "back" them by buying season tickets and showing up at the games and simply, you know, LIKING them. But if "backing your team" means cheering for defeat after defeat and saying everything is fine and dandy when it's not, I'm not terribly interested.
Anyway, this blog isn't really intended as a Pep Rally. I save my rah-rah Let's Go Thrashers stuff for the actual GAMES. This thing isn't for team spirit so much as half-serious/half-comedic hockey chatter. And it's not interesting to just write "LET'S GO THRASHERS YOU ROCK OMG" over and over and over.

I don't know of anyone who does that!
