So I listen to my Wings destroy the Blackhawks, and I'm happy as can be. Flip over to listen to the tragic finish of the Thrashers game and I want to cut myself, what can I say, I must be a some sort of masochist. mmmm .... wouldn't the blue crew look good in leather. The Atlanta Masochists.

At this point I have no clue what to say.

Epic Fail.

My favorite part of that picture though is the fact that the lady had already used her 50/50 life line to narrow it down between the Moon and an Elephant.

I just wonder what the other two choices were...

Upon further review on snopes.com, this picture is a fake. This makes me sad.

Also upon further review at snopes, the Thrashers don't actually exist.

Perhaps they're a figment of all our imaginations, a collective nightmare, like the dream where the Bomb finally hits.

Hmmmm The Thrashers actually improved tonight and actually picked up a point in OT. Not trying to pick at anyone but how is that an epic fail when they finally picked up a point? A loss is a loss but hey a point is a point.

The point is the Thrashers haven't won a game since...since when, exactly?

Yes, they got a point for the standings, but a string of overtime losses to mediocre teams like this year's Leafs isn't going to advance us to the playoffs. Just ask Tampa Bay.

Of course it could happen, but something is seriously wrong with Kovalchuk's line (no scoring, ever), our defense leaves a lot to be desired, and our goal-tending situation is weird and precarious and uncertain.

Unless there's a substantial trade I don't see how tonight's one point will make a huge difference.

Can't wait for January 29th. Vs. New York Islanders. A WIN!!!!!

On another note, I feel horrible for my four year old son. I took him to the Blue Jackets game last month and he was HOOKED. He absolutely LOVES Hockey now. He has memorized EVERY Thrashers player and what number they are. We play air hockey and he says he's the Thrashers for God's sakes. I have since taken him to the Nashville, and two Boston games. Needless to say, he has yet to see the Thrashers win. After the Boston loss Sunday, we waited for the "crowd" to clear out and he just kept looking at the empty ice. I told him I was sorry that he didn't get to see the Thrashers win, and without looking away from the ice in his sweet little voice he says, "Maybe they'll win next time." It was so sad. My wife is now blaming me for causing depression in a four year old.

I get where you are coming from. We need to win and win a lot. Kovy is not doing that great this season and honestly it has absolutely nothing to do with who is on his line. I want to see something happen with him that is going to trigger a breakout with him.

Yes, it is better to get a point. But the real POINT is we still lost. I've been here from day 1 and I ain't goin anywhere.

We need to WIN. Epic Fail wasn't so much meant towards last nights game, but the season in general.

This team has very serious problems. Being even somewhat pleased with last nights results will only set you back as an organization.

Give up a two goal lead, fight back and find a way to tie the game, and then take a penalty in the final minute of the game and lose in OT (bad call in my opinion, but a penalty is a penalty). This team finds ways to lose. You can see it now in their body language how defeated they are, and that is the worst sign of all.

I agree with you Big Shooter. This has so been a frustrating season for everyone. The roller coaster ride of emotions is enough to break anyone. Let's all make a New Years wish that things are about to take a turn for the better!

Jay-

That's the saddest story I've ever heard. Makes one want to weep.
