A Question to Ponder This Warm Saturday Evening

Why is it that every time someone attempts to argue with a (almost always Canadian) Sunbelt-hater about the value or potential of NHL Sunbelt teams, they almost always respond with something along the lines of these charmers in the Puck Daddy comments section?

how about screw the thrashers, coyotes and all those teams.

That almost convinces me.

Backwoods retarded redneck canadians just don't know how much they have in common with us. I mean I love the Trailer Park Boys. I'd love to do the same show in Alabama, it wouldn't miss a beat. Also the shear volume of minor leage hockey teams around the south speaks volumes of how serious we are about our hockey.

I read the comments on Puck Daddy. I like Laura. She's sexy. I dig a girl with hockey smarts. She was one of few on there that made any sense at all.

I blame eastern Canada. I always have to remember that. I love those western folk.

I wonder if a Coyotes move to Hamilton cements the Thrashers in Atlanta more than any ties they have to Philips Arena and the Hawks. The ASG could decide to sell and would it be possible to split the Thrashers from Philips and the Hawks? The Islanders seemed tied to KC, the Coyotes to Hamilton/Southern Ontario. Surely Winnipeg or Quebec City wouldn't be viewed as better situations than Atlanta? Would it? Arthur Blank, you're our only hope! Save us from the evil Canadian millionaires.

If Ted stepped in that'd be awesome. Arthur Blank is a good guy, but if Ted came in we'd be gold. I mean the Braves won when he was the owner. Maybe we should replace DW with John Schuerholz.

If Terry Pendleton was our right winger we would be hoisting the cup.

Speaking of which apparently DW has an official statement via AJC putting down those guys from Vancouver.
