I think the key to winning this one is to score early and often. Can't afford to make too many mistakes against a team like the Columbus "We Used to Have Ron Hainsey and Foolishly Let Him Go" Blue Jackets.
Let's hope we DO score early and often, not just for the sake of winning but because I remember the last Blue Jackets-Thrashers game was honest to God, no exaggeration, the single most boring hockey game I've ever witnessed. It made me sad.
For no particular reason other than it's been in my head, the game day tune:
IMPORTANT UPDATE: Your editor has just been made aware that the Blue Jackets played the San Jose Sharks last night and the game went all the way to a shootout, which they lost. My, I bet they're tired, physically and spiritually!

Word to your moms! The CBJ's play some of the boringest damn hockey you ever did see. However, there god forsaken trapping D has been struggling as they have been giving up an avg of 3.4 G per gm, which is near the worst in the league. Not sure what is going on there but if we can jump on them early, perhaps we can learn dem damn Yankees good!
Their style of play reflects how boring life in Columbus, Ohio must be if you're not currently enrolled @ OSU, funneling beers and hitting on fat chicks. I've heard that's all there is to do there.
We got this. Ken Hitchcock's boring hockey has no place in our town, and we'll show them that tonight.
If there were a sharp gambler in the western movie it'd be Ron Hainsey, and tonight he is back in the lineup.
You don't know what the Thrashers will do, but by god, you know it'll be exciting!
As in "tell me when it's over, I cant' look" exciting......
Hey buddy...
