Perry, Getzlaf, and Selanne continue to dominate. Ryan Getzlaf has millions of points by now, Selanne has a realistic chance of contending for the Richard Trophy (as does Getzlaf, really), and the Ducks are the highest-scoring team in the NHL. Last year they were the third lowest-scoring team. Who woulda thunk it?
- San Jose Sharks fanatic and hockey blogger extraordinaire Mike Chen has started an excellent new feature on his blog over in Kuklaland. Mr. Chen is a big music fan with an EXCELLENT taste in music (see here), and Puck Rock is more or less a series of interviews with NHL personalities (players, commentators, coaches) about their favorite music and its relation to hockey. The first installment of Puck Rock features none other than Big Shooter favorite John Buccigross. Read all about his favorite music here.
I share some of Bucci's musical taste (he loves New Order, U2, R.E.M., and the Boss) but can't stomach other areas (Blink 182, Ben Folds Five, Disturbed). What I best like in the interview, though, is this:
-What song should they never play again at hockey arenas?
Bob Seger’s Old Time Rock and Roll
Amen, Bucci, amen.

Too bad you don't have Getzlaf on fantasy anymore. I mean I gave up Perry for Semin, so take what you will.
Don't knock Bob Seger. Yes, that song is overplayed in sports, but great artist in my mind...
